Allyson Felix

Allyson Michael Felix was an Los Angeles native born on the 18th of November, 1985. Paul Felix, the father of Allyson Michelle Felix, is a minister who was ordained by Master's Seminary Sun Valley. Marlean Felix works as a primary school teacher in Balboa Magnet. Felix was an athletically inclined child and discovered her love to sprint at Los Angeles Baptist High School. In only 10 weeks following her initial attempt, she placed 2nd in the 200-meter race at the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix has graduated from high school in 2003 signed a sports contract with Adidas. Then she went to an institution called the University of Southern California and studied elementary education. The following year, Felix won the first Olympic medal during the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens Greece setting a junior world record by taking 200 metres at 22.18 seconds. Felix was also the youngest winner of the 200 meter in the world championships held in Helsinki in 2005. She defended her title the following year, defeating time-tested Jamaican competitor Veronica Campbell. Felix always placed at the top of the podium in her various competitions in the Olympics which took place at Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo.
