Big Time Rush is an American pop boy band formed in the year 2009. The group is composed of Kendall Schmidt, James Maslow, Logan Henderson, and Carlos PenaVega. They initially signed to Nick Records in 2009 before transferring to Columbia Records. They were featured in Nickelodeon's TV show, Big Time Rush. The show ran from November 28th, 2009 through July 25 the 25th of July, 2013. The pilot episode featured the group’s debut promo single, "Big Time Rush". The group has released three studio albums: BTR in 2010, Elevate in 2011 and 24/Seven in 2013. The group in 2014 was on break for an indefinite time that ran through 2021.
