Emma Stone

Emily Jean "Emma" Stone was born on November 6, 1988 in Scottsdale, Arizona to Krista Jean Stone (nee Yeager), a homemaker & Jeffrey Charles "Jeff" Stone, a contractor company founder and CEO. Stone is of Swedish, German and British Isles descent. Stone began her acting career in her youth as a Valley Youth Theatre member in Phoenix, Arizona. She made her stage debut in the play of Kenneth Grahame "The Wind in the Willows." As a teenager Stone performed in of numerous stage productions before she made the decision to make acting her profession. According to the official account, she made a PowerPoint presentation, backed up by Madonna's "Hollywood" and also titled "Project Hollywood", in attempt to persuade her parents to let her drop out of school and relocate to Los Angeles. The pitch succeeded and she and her mom moved to LA after completing her education at home, while she spent the day auditioning. She made her TV debut in 2004, when she was cast in the role of Laurie Partridge on the VH1 reality show In Search of the Partridge Family. The show resulted in a variety of small TV performances in the years that followed. Her film debut was as Jules in Superbad (2007) and following a string of success, her main part as Olive in Easy A (2010) established her as a major star. She was a student at Xavier College Preparatory, Phoenix, Arizona. Although she's known as a redhead, her real hair color is blonde. Judd Apatow was the one who suggested she change her natural hair shade to Superbad (2007). It was so popular that she decided to keep it. At age 15 she persuaded her parents she could make the move to Hollywood. She achieved this by making a PowerPoint presentation titled Project Hollywood. At 11 years old she started her acting career at the Valley Youth Theatre, Phoenix, AZ. There, she starred in 16 stage productions as well as in the comedy improv troupe. Caylee Cowan was also an actor at Valley Youth Theatre.
