Annie Wersching Bio

Annie Wersching was born March 28th, 1977. She is an American actress. Her role includes Renee Walker on the American television series 24. Motion capture and voice work were as well for Tess in the videogame of NaughtyDog, The Last of Us. Wersching was born and was raised in St. Louis, Missouri. She went to high school at Crossroads College Preparatory School in the Central West End of St. Louis where she graduated in 1995. During her youth she participated in Irish dance and was part of the St. Louis Celtic Stepdancers. Millikin University gave her a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, which she graduated in 1999. Wersching's acting career started with an appearance as a guest on Star Trek: Enterprise. Later, Wersching was invited to perform on guest shows like Charmed and Killer Instinct. She played Amelia Joffe, a recurring character on ABC's daytime soap series General Hospital from March 2007 to November 2007. Additionally, she been a part of theaters such as Victory Gardens and Marriott Lincolnshire. She was also a regular in the series of the Amazon Prime crime-show Bosch in 2014. Wersching was a catcher for the National League in the 2009 Taco Bell All-Star Legends and Celebrity Softball Game.In December 2012, it was announced that in the PlayStation 3 exclusive The Last of Us Wersching was the voice actor and mocap of the character Tess. Geoff Keighley teased her character on Twitter, before she was revealed in the Spike Video Game Awards story trailer on December 7 2012. Wersching was set to take on the role of the Borg Queen in Star Trek: Picard in September 2021.
